Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. What does this verse mean to you?

Those God loves He chastens. Knowing that a good parent disciplines his kids, makes me realize just how much God loves me. I read these verses while my father was taking his last breaths, dying a horrible death by cancer. I still choke up when I read them. I have had many instances in my life where my chosen path was blocked by one way or another and I recognize now that the hand of God was leading in each instance.
