What do you think of Torchwood now?

Isn't it a bit of a let-down? The episode with homicidal fairies (bit like Silence of the Lambs then!) was illogical - why was the old dear killed for instance - who had never been against fairies? The episode about cannibals was ripped off from the first series of Supernatural - especially the part where the cannibal "leader" explains that he does it because he likes to do it. Isn't it a bit embarring that a "flagship" BBC programme is stooping to theft now?
