How do I get a prom date?!?

I work at petco. And all my life I'd had a pion for animals. But now I think it's time for me to interact with humans....and I'm really looking forward to my high school prom coming up and I don't want to take my pet iguana to prom. I just need some friendly advice on how to score myself a magnificently hot date. Like do I feed them a carrot like i do with my rabbit? Or do I throw them a treat like i do with my dog Sparky. Time is running out and I only have one life unlike my cat Twista who has nine lives...help right away!!!!!!!
