What do NASCAR fans think about this story?
I'm sorry, I don't see it.. I actually never heard most of his statements, because I really don't listen.. I've heard references to the statement about Jr fans, but this is first time I've seen it quoted.. My reaction is the same.. So what.. If I wanted his opinions, I would have listened when he said it the first time.. lol Of course Jr fans are crazy.. All NASCAR fans are crazy.. That is not exactly a headline news story.. It's a sport that started putting up aluminum grandstands, because the fans used to burn the wooden ones down.. On a regular basis.. And Kyles merchandise sales have no place to go but up, and it's my bet that the majority of those sales are T-shirts in pre-pubescent boys sizes.. Not a put-down, just memories of what those years were like for boys, and anyone willing to give the bird to authority, was my hero.. For at least two weeks anyway.. I don't understand all the talk, but times have changed, and I come from a time when there were maybe half a dozen mainstream writers remembering that there was more to racing than the Indy 500.. Now we have hundreds, and I guess they need to feed there families, but there just aren't that many things to say about racing.. They need to invent muck to justify their own existence.. So they get into this dopey personal stuff, and it really isn't interesting.. Comparing Kyle to DW just isn't fair.. DW was cr, and never would stop running his mouth win, lose, or draw you could not shut him up.. He won more than Kyle ever will, and didn't have to include every win in a go cart he ever had.. But all his cr bad jokes (and every one knew they were in fun, no matter how cutting), resulted in a sever lack of support, or friends, as he lost his luster with age.. You can't compare the two.. Kyle is just a dopey kid with no taste, burning bridges as he goes.. In a way, I feel bad for him.. He will p, as have others like him..
