What is your favourite thing about summer & why?

I love the warm sunny weather we get here in the UK & every year my husband, 2 children & I go to Weymouth (a coastal resort in Dorset,UK) for a weeks holiday in summer. It has a fantastic beach there & so much to do. We live in a town so it's great to get away by the sea.The sea is breathtaking, & so are the views of the countryside. Why can't it be summer all year long?
