How to impress my coach!?!?!?

How can i impress my softball coach. I know I'm capable of doing a lot and we only had a few scrimmages, but he usually benches me. I can pitch and play infield good and left field and center well, but if he does play me I'm in right field ( the "sucky" players position). I ask if i can play and he just tells me to sit down! I love softball but its hard to love it if i can't play! His daughter is on my team and she is in my grade and she sucks and he puts her in either short- stop or second! I want to be at a position where i move a lot. Like the fist year i played i always played in second and short-stop. Oh yeah, my teammate asked to sit out and so i asked to go in and he put her out there and me on the bench. I loooovvvvveeee softball and i don't want to take three hours each day sitting on the bench!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
