Criterion to creat a auto repair shop! help me, please!?

Way to much info to post here. If you want to open a legitimate, by the books, legal auto shop, you will need to do a lot more work than posting a question in Yahoo. Find the closest SBA location to you and go get whatever info they have on it for your area. There are EPA, OSHA, and accounting standards that will have to be met. A commercially zoned building, a business license, and insurance are just bare minimum start-up costs. Its not cheap or easy to do, though I have done it twice. If this is your first venture, best advice would be to find a shop owned by someone wanting to retire, work under them for a year or two learning the ropes, then try to buy the place on a land contract where payments are based on revenues.
