Can i purify cheap vodka by distilling it?

Ok, so i accidently bought a ton of cheap vodka and now i am stuck with it. Since vodka contains ethyl alcohol, water, and additives, could i distill the vodka by boiling the alcohol off at 173 degrees f and catch the alcohol vapors? any suggestion on a homemade way of catching the alcohol vapors? i thought about using syrran wrap or aluminum foil and having the vapors slide down the sheet and into a pan or a dish of some sort, any suggestions?
