8th grade Science Homework! Please help! :/ eeekkk?

Okay Kate the independent variable is the one that changes, in this case, the water samples. The dependent variable is the result of the independent variable so what it's what you were testing for.The constants would be stuff that didn't change in each of the samples, like the amount of water. (did you use the same type of solid to test each water sample? if so, then it's a constant too)
